What is the shelf life?
Anywhere from 4-6 months depending on when the can was packaged. There is also a date code on the bottom of each can.
Does the product need to be refrigerated?
Our products should be refrigerated at all times - before and after opening.
Is it okay to shake the can?
No, please do not shake the cans and do not open right away if the can was dropped.
How do you properly recycle the can?
We use perforated shrink wrap labels so that the label can be easily removed so that the can can be properly recycled.
Does kombucha contain alcohol?
Our kombucha undergoes a natural fermentation process and a natural outcome of the fermentation is ethanol production. However, kombucha is meant to have less than 0.5% alcohol.
Is this kombucha pasteurized?
Our kombucha is never pasteurized. However, we do filter out some of the yeast to help with shelf stability and reduce ethanol production.
Are your ingredients organic?
All of the ingredients that we use are organic. From the organic cane sugar, to the green tea, and the herbs used for flavoring.
